Food Grade Foams

PJ Bowers supplies a range of food-safe and potable water–compatible foams engineered for hygiene-critical environments. These materials are independently certified for compliance with FDA 21 CFR and EU food contact standards, making them ideal for applications requiring purity, chemical resistance, and safety in contact with food, beverages, or potable water systems.

Safe for food and potable contact under normal temperature conditions.

Tested by TÜV SÜD Vietnam (May 2025)

Passed all extractive limit tests, indicating no detectable extractables in water and minimal extractables in n-hexane.

EU Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and (EU) No 10/2011 for food contact materials.
FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 for indirect food additives.
Tested under simulated food contact conditions (10 days at 40°C in acetic acid, ethanol, and iso-octane).
Suitable for room temperature storage and transport of foodstuffs.
